The Requirements Of The Cylinder Liner
- Oct 28, 2017 -

Cylinder liner should have sufficient strength, stiffness and heat resistance, but also should have good wear resistance. Work should be good lubrication and cooling.

Cylinder is generally made of phosphorus or boron wear-resistant alloy cast iron as a material. Cylinder liner inside the table is also sometimes chrome (loose hole chrome, oil storage network chrome), nitriding or phosphating and other treatment to improve wear resistance. The internal hardness of the liner is usually greater than the HB200, and with the piston ring hardness has a good match. The inner surface should also have the appropriate roughness, so that it has a certain oil storage capacity and running performance. The inner surface should have sufficient roundness and cylindrical accuracy, and the mounting support should have a higher positional accuracy in the center of the bore.
